Role Summary

As an I&C Designer at Burns & McDonnell India, you will be a key member of a dynamic team designing complex Instrumentation systems for global Oil & Gas projects. Your responsibilities include creating conceptual layouts, detailed drawings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop design documents for plant construction. You will work with engineers and designers in Mumbai and the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply instrumentation theory and engineering principles to develop robust design solutions.
  • Create and refine detailed 2D drawings, plans, and documents based on S3D models, installation details, and specifications.
  • Participate in Model Review discussions focusing on operability, maintainability, and constructability.
  • Develop wiring diagrams, loops, cable schedules, and tubing lists using SI - Smart Instrumentation.
  • Prepare material take-offs (MTO).
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and the BMUS team.
  • Utilize office tools like Excel and Power-BI for documentation and data analysis.
