Qualifications

• 3 years working experience as Instrument Technical Assistant or in a sterile processing unit preferred.
• Ability to perform 3 rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide sterile and serviceable surgical instruments and equipment to operating theatres.
• Ensure all aspects of sterile processing: decontamination, inspection, preparation, packaging.
• Troubleshoot and repair simple diagnostic and therapeutic biomedical equipment.
