Founded in 2017, Achievers Dream is a Chemistry Specialist Tuition Centre dedicated to helping students truly understand the subject — not just memorise it. We’re one of the few centres in Singapore with an NEA-approved Chemistry lab, where students get to learn in a real, guided setting. Our structured learning system breaks down difficult topics into manageable steps and real-life examples that make learning more relatable. We believe in clear teaching, solid systems, and a team that supports one another and takes pride in seeing students improve.

Role Overview: We’re looking for a Chemistry Teacher who is patient, reliable, and committed to helping students improve. You’ll be teaching secondary and/or JC students in group settings, using both classroom and hands-on lab sessions. This role is suited for someone who takes pride in breaking down tough topics, guiding students through challenges, and working closely with a teaching team.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Content Delivery

  • Teach JC Chemistry lessons clearly and confidently using Achievers Dream’s teaching system

  • Conduct engaging lessons and explain concepts in ways that students can understand and apply

  • Use a mix of written practice, discussions, and real-life examples to reinforce key concepts

Practical Lessons & Lab Guidance

  • Guide students during practical lab sessions in our NEA-approved Chemistry Lab

  • Ensure safety, understanding, and hands-on experience during experiments

  • Help students prepare for school practical exams with confidence

Student Progress & Support

  • Track student progress and provide feedback to help them improve

  • Answer student questions and guide them through exam-style questions and weak topics

  • Offer additional support when needed (e.g. consults, feedback to parents)

  • Mark student scripts and worksheets with accuracy and fairness

Event & Exam Support

  • Assist with centre events such as mock practicals

  • Help invigilate mock exams or practical assessments

  • Provide backup support for logistics and classroom transitions

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with other teachers to plan lessons, share insights, and maintain consistency

  • Communicate with the admin team on scheduling and class updates

  • Participate in training and internal discussions to continually improve teaching quality

Curriculum Development

  • Develop and create teaching materials and lesson plans tailored to students’ needs.

  • Continuously update and revise teaching materials to ensure relevance and alignment with current standards.

  • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of the curriculum and suggest improvements based on classroom experience.

Our Culture: We value people who are collaborative, supportive, take initiative, and have a strong team spirit. It’s not about being perfect — it’s about showing up, doing your part, and having each other’s back. We work hard, enjoy our bubble tea breaks, and take pride in overcoming challenges together. Our workplace is respectful, drama-free, and we actively look out for one another — including protecting our team from any form of inappropriate behaviour.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Strong foundation in Chemistry (A-level H2 or higher)

  • Teaching or tutoring experience preferred — training will be provided

  • Able to explain concepts clearly, with patience and confidence

  • Detail-oriented in marking and student feedback

  • Team player who is dependable and willing to help when needed

  • Able to work weekends and travel across centres if required

  • Confident in teaching JC Chemistry Syllabus

Work Schedule & Location

  • Outlets: Bukit Timah, Lorong Chuan, Kembangan

  • Option 1: 4 weekdays (1:00pm–9:00pm) + 1 weekend (8:30am–6:30pm)

  • Option 2: 3 weekdays (1:00pm–9:00pm) + 2 weekends (8:30am–6:30pm)

Join Us: If you enjoy teaching, care about helping students grow, and want to be part of a team that supports each other, we’d love to hear from you. Send us your resume and cover letter — we look forward to welcoming you.
