Job summary
A leading financial services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional for a business development role focused on institutional sales. The successful candidate will drive sales strategies, manage client relationships, and contribute to expanding the institutional client base in a competitive market.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in sales trading with institutional clients.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for business development and execution of sales strategies
- Drive sales of exchange-traded and exchange-cleared OTC derivatives products to the targeted clients
- Generate commissions from institutional client base
- Build new institutional business by on-boarding new clients
- Manage and maintain relations with existing client portfolios
- Increase existing institutional business by increasing share of client business
- Work on a team level to identify new opportunities within the target market
- Develop and maintain internal relationships with other channels and functional teams to onboard new clients
Requirements:
- Degree holder in related discipline
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in sales trading / dealing with institutional clients or institutional sales experience preferred
- Must possess locally required licenses
- Experience with major global exchanges (eg. SGX, HKEX, CME, ICE, LME etc.) needed
- Self-motivated individual, with a commitment to excellence
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with clients
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organisation
- Ability to focus and prioritise the key initiatives across a broad range of opportunities and relationships
