Job description

In this role, the candidate will develop and execute marketing strategies to identify, attract, and engage institutional clients, driving qualified leads and supporting our business growth objectives. The candidate will work closely with sales, product, and executive teams to ensure a seamless client acquisition journey and a strong market presence.

Core Responsibilities

Institutional-Focused Lead Generation

  • Design ABM (Account-Based Marketing) campaigns targeting regional institutions (e.g., hedge funds, prop trading firms, commodity merchants).
  • Leverage your networks and institutional channels such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, industry forums (FOW, FIA), etc.

Sales Enablement & Partnership

  • Partner with institutional sales team to develop account-specific playbooks, battle cards, and pitch decks.
  • Generate warm introductions via tailored outreach.
  • Track KPIs: Inbound institutional inquiries, meeting bookings, and pipeline influence.

Industry Positioning & Compliance

  • Translate complex offerings into institutional value, for example: Hedge Funds: asset allocation in APAC markets, Prop Firms: API-driven algos, low-latency executions, Commodities Houses: trading for hedging in physical commodities.
  • Ensure compliance with rules and regulations.

Performance & Optimization

  • Analyze institution-specific data: Trade volume patterns, clearing pain points, platform adoption barriers and competitor activities.
  • Track, analyze, and report on lead generation performance.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key industry partners, associations, and event organizers to expand brand reach and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (min 15 years) in sales, trading or relationship management within the commodities industry or global financial institutions.
  • Relevant degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of derivatives instruments, commodities markets and risk management principles.
  • Strong networking, excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
