Responsibilities

• Read specifications and inspection & test plans.
• Perform scheduled quality inspections of incoming materials and outgoing products.

• Reject and report non-conforming products and materials.
• Maintain QC inspection records and assist with investigations.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Read specifications and inspection & test plans to understand the requirements of products.
• Perform scheduled sampling quality inspections of incoming materials/ products from external provider and outgoing products for shipping.
• Conduct scheduled in-process inspection in the production line to ensure that quality, hygiene and safety standards are met.
• Reject and report to QCI Supervisor/ Manager for all products and materials that fail to meet quality specification and expectations.
• Ensure QC inspection record/ log is updated for inspection and testing conducted.
• Assist QC Specialist for any investigation for product-related non-conformance issue and recommend problem resolution.
• Assist QC Specialist for establishment of QC inspection test methods.
• Manage retention room for reference and post inspection samples.
• Maintain External Laboratory Service Providers register, perform external laboratory product testing and test report record retention.
• Perform routine QC laboratory 5S maintenance tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Higher Nitec or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in QC inspection and strong understanding of relevant QC standards and testing techniques.
• Certification in quality control is preferred.
• Understand basic laboratory equipment handling.
• Working well independently and detail-oriented.
