As Analysts at Riot, we build analyses that help Rioters to make difficult decisions. We are part of an interdisciplinary team that works with Rioters from other disciplines (i.e., designers, artists, engineers, producers) to conduct studies and analyses that inform our products' features, systems, and experiences.

As an Insights Analyst (Contract) on the Wild Rift team, you will work directly with Wild Rift game leadership to provide data analysis and strategic insights that inform key business decisions. Your expertise will support Wild Rift’s marketing, performance, channel optimization, and player acquisition initiatives. You will also perform regular tracking, analysis, and reporting to enable strategic actions.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update Wild Rift's global and regional tracking and reporting on awareness and interest metrics.
• Extract and analyze data from databases to examine correlations between upper-funnel metrics and downstream conversions (install, trial, revival).
• Conduct advanced analyses such as performance marketing attribution by navigating databases, creating dashboards, and resolving data issues.
• Support and execute standard and recurring performance tracking reports.
• Translate user segments into SQL queries based on business needs to retrieve cohort data.
• Identify data sources and generate cohorts for targeted retargeting campaigns.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and foundational knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience with Tableau or similar visualization tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate insights clearly.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional engagement.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms.
• Familiarity with social listening tools like Talkwalker.
• Experience in publishing analytics within gaming or entertainment sectors.
• At least 2 years of marketing practices including User Acquisition, Paid Media, and CRM.
• Business fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
