Job summary

ASSISI HOSPICE in Singapore is seeking a dedicated nurse to provide coordinated, patient-centred care under supervision of a Staff Nurse. You will uphold nursing standards, assist in medications administration, document care, and support families with compassionate communication.

The role requires a NITEC in Nursing or equivalent and Singapore Nursing Board registration; IT literacy is essential to use hospital systems and ensure safe, efficient care delivery in a hospice environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a NITEC in Nursing or equivalent and registration with the Singapore Nursing Board.
• IT literacy to use hospital systems and ensure accurate documentation.
• Commitment to patient-centred care and stakeholder service.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure nursing services are safe, competent and individualized.
• Allocate equipment to meet care requirements.
• Communicate and build rapport with patients and families.
• Assist in patient care under supervision of a Staff Nurse and liaise with physicians.
• Participate in Multidisciplinary Team meetings for coordinated care.
• Observe storage and handling of drugs and supplies in accordance with standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and a safe patient care environment.
• Assist with documentation of patient condition and care progression.
• Provide nursing tasks such as administration of oral, IM and SC medications under supervision.
• Follow up to ensure continuity of care and treatment plans.
• Contribute to delivery of palliative nursing care as required.
