Job summary

Hydra X is seeking an Innovation Lead to identify and implement new technologies, especially AI, to strengthen our products, operations and business capabilities. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of technology, product, AI and business transformation and collaborates across teams to pilot high-value opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience across product management, software engineering, technology or innovation.
• Strong technical foundation and experience working closely with engineering teams.
• Demonstrated experience taking products or technology solutions from 0 to 1.
• Practical experience developing or implementing AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong product judgement, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to prototype and build solutions independently where appropriate.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and taking ownership from concept through execution.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritise opportunities to apply emerging technologies, particularly AI and automation, across Hydra X.
• Lead the development and implementation of AI-enabled solutions, including AI agents, workflow automation, RAG and related technologies.
• Work with Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Legal and other teams to identify pain points and redesign workflows.
• Take selected initiatives from problem discovery through prototype, MVP and implementation.
• Develop business cases, implementation plans and success metrics for innovation initiatives.
• Work with Product and Engineering teams to transition validated prototypes into production solutions.
• Establish appropriate controls and evaluation frameworks for the responsible use of AI within a regulated environment.
• Evaluate relevant technology platforms, vendors and strategic partners.
• Keep abreast of developments in AI, fintech, blockchain and digital capital markets that may create opportunities for Hydra X.

Role Overview

This is a hands‑on role at the intersection of technology, product, AI and business

transformation. The successful candidate will work across teams to identify high-value

opportunities, test ideas quickly, build prototypes and translate successful concepts into
