Job summary

AUMOVIO SE invites an Innovation & Emerging Technology Intern to join a dynamic team in Singapore. The role spans optics, robotics, AI-enabled innovation and supplier collaboration to scout new technologies and prototype new concepts.

You will work with cross‑functional teams and external partners to advance technology projects and demonstrations. Ideal candidates are final‑year students in engineering with a hands‑on mindset and a strong analytical approach.

Qualifications

• Pursuing final year Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics or related Engineering.
• Interest in optics, mechanisms/robotics, automotive technologies, and product development.
• Experience or interest in Generative AI / Agentic AI is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier engagements, technical follow-ups and coordination of samples/material deliveries.
• Track project schedules, budgets and deliverables for technology projects.
• Coordinate prototype and demonstrator development with cross‑functional teams.
• Conduct technology, market and competitor research in optics, robotics and related tech.
• Assist in technology scouting and innovation ideation with suppliers.
• Develop and experiment with AI tools for technology intelligence and research.
• Support innovation activities including workshops and management presentations.

Support advanced technology and innovation projects spanning optics, kinematics/robotics, optics and AI‑enabled innovation, with exposure to technology suppliers, prototype development and emerging technology scouting.

Key Activities

• Support supplier engagements, technical follow-ups and coordination of samples/material deliveries.
• Support technology projects through schedule, budget, material and deliverable tracking.

• Conduct technology, market and competitor research, particularly in optics, displays, kinematics/robotics and related emerging technologies.

• Support innovation activities including idea evaluation, workshops and management presentations.

• Pursuing Final year Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics or related Engineering discipline.
• Interest in research of optics, mechanisms/robotics, automotive technologies, product development.
• Interest or experience in Generative AI / Agentic AI is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills.
