A leading telecommunications firm in Singapore is seeking an Infrastructure Planning Engineer to support the planning and coordination of fibre network infrastructure. Job description

We’re hiring Infrastructure Planning Engineer to support planning and coordination of fibre network infrastructure for new developments. If you’ve worked in telecom infrastructure, site coordination, or project support roles, this position could be a great fit!

Location: Geylang/Katong/Telok Blangah Exchange

Working Hours: Mon–Thu (8:30am–6:00pm); Fri (8:30am–5:30pm)

Salary: Up to $3,400/month

Duration: 1-year direct contract (renewal & conversion subject to performance)

Job Scope:

• Attend site meetings with developers, consultants, and contractors to plan telecom infrastructure
• Coordinate inspection and takeover of telecom facilities in accordance with IMDA COPIF
• Planpipeline connections, fibre risers, and MDF room connections for new developments
• Review COPIF plans; liaise with internal stakeholders and departments
• Resolve site issues such as pipe blocks, cable faults, and access difficulties
• Update supervisors regularly on site progress and project implementation
• Support coordination and commissioning of telecom equipment
• Perform other duties assigned by the Manager-in-charge

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• Valid Class 3C driving license
• Willing to support work outside office hours during emergencies or network incidents
• Able to work under highly pressurized environments, especially during emergency restoration of telecommunications services
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Good communication skills, team-oriented, and eager to learn
