About the role

The Infrastructure Technology Lead supports Group IT’s Infrastructure Services team in designing and delivering infrastructure components of business solutions across Far East Organization. Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure Services, this role focuses on technical solutioning, platform alignment, and stakeholder collaboration, while contributing to operational support and governance under the guidance of Infrastructure Managers and Senior Managers.

This role spans business units including Real Estate Sales & Leasing, Hospitality, Retail, Australian Properties, and supporting divisions across Singapore and the region. It is ideal for a technically proficient professional who can translate business requirements into infrastructure designs, support project delivery, and contribute to platform standardization—while maintaining hands-on familiarity with infrastructure operations.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities (75%) — Solutioning, Design, and Collaboration

  • Support infrastructure solutioning for new property developments and hotel openings, aligned with standards defined by Infrastructure Managers.
  • Assist in preparing technical proposals and presenting solution options to business stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of infrastructure solution standards and documentation.
  • Provide input on infrastructure product selection and architecture, ensuring compatibility with enterprise platforms.
  • Support integration between infrastructure systems and business applications to enable seamless operations.
  • Serve as a technical resource for hospitality infrastructure systems such as HSIA, PABX, IPTV, Door Lock, and CCTV.
  • Collaborate with project managers, application owners, and third-party vendors to ensure infrastructure components meet project requirements.

Operational Responsibilities (≤25%) — Support, Governance, and Security

  • Assist in administering infrastructure systems including compute, backup, identity management, email services, and security operations.
  • Support resolution of escalated infrastructure issues in collaboration with Infrastructure Managers and Service Desk teams.
  • Participate in system health and performance reviews, and contribute to operational efficiency improvements.
  • Engage with Technology Risk and Infrastructure teams to implement applicable security controls and support governance efforts.
  • Ensure outsourced partners adhere to contractual obligations for infrastructure support and maintenance.
  • Contribute to procurement activities including quotation review, recommendation, and service acceptance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Professional certifications preferred: CCNA, MTA (IT Infrastructure), CompTIA Network+/Security+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies, CCSP, GSEC.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure design and implementation.
  • Solid technical knowledge across infrastructure domains: networking, servers, security, storage, cloud computing, and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with hospitality and real estate technologies: Wired/Wireless Networks, Telephony, IPTV, Door Lock, CCTV, IoT, and Enterprise Mobility.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and security controls such as SIEM, vulnerability assessment, firewall policy review, and privileged access management.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in execution.
  • Effective communication skills, with ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
