A leading company in the transit sector is seeking a maintenance supervisor to oversee building maintenance and repair operations at stations and depots. The role involves supervising contractors, leading a team of technicians, and ensuring compliance with safety and reliability standards. Candidates should possess a relevant diploma and one year of experience in maintenance within a rapid transit system.
Responsibility
Provide building maintenance and repair in supporting stations and depot operations
Supervise the contractors in the to ensure that the facilities and equipment are operated and maintained to meet the safety, reliability and availability standards of SOR
Participate in Mechanical services installation, testing & commissioning
Lead a team of technicians in providing building maintenance and repairs in supporting stations and depot operations.
Participate in the investigation of major fault or failure
Plan, supervise, inspect, audit and certify works carried out by the contractors.
Check and monitor that all proper practices (such as fault reporting, response to corrective maintenance, safety procedure, etc.) are carried out.
Inspect and audit contractors’ quality of works, level of manpower, spares, tools and equipment.
Perform 3 rotating shift duties in accordance with duty roster.
Attend to fault call and emergencies at Depots & Stations
Track logistic support in terms of spares and support of his own team in building maintenance and repairs
Participate in sustainability and environmental conservation initiatives.
Liaise with authority on factory acceptance test, field tests, identify design discrepancies, modification and enhancement.
Any other responsibilities as assigned by superior.
Requirements
A recognized diploma / Higher NITEC in M&E or Building Services Engineering discipline.
Preferably with 1-year relevant experience in rapid transit system, Lift & Escalators, Fire Alarm / Protection & ACMV maintenance.
Possess good communication skills, leadership skills and computer literate.
Positive attitude, team player, flexible and co-operative.
Self-motivated and resourceful.
Responsible and dependable.
Able to perform shift work.
Possess Class 3 driving license.
