They are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing team.

Job Description:

• Implement, maintain, and administer network, operating systems, storage, and backup solutions, including regular updates and patches to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues to maintain system stability and reliability.
• Monitor system performance and availability to proactively address potential issues.
• Implement security measures to protect infrastructure from internal and external threats.
• Collaborate on system development tasks including design, implementation, integration, and testing.
• Provide on-call, 24x7 support for systems on a rotating basis.
• Implement corrective procedures to resolve production problems and minimize unplanned system outages.
• Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to support efficient planning and execution.
• Coordinate with external parties and customers to ensure timely and effective problem resolution.

Job Requirement:

• Solid understanding of operating systems and networking fundamentals.
• Minimum of 2 years supporting enterprise desktop environments, with strong technical expertise in VMware vSphere and VMware Horizon VDI.
• Practical experience applying ITIL principles in IT service management.
• Passionate about emerging technologies and eager to learn and adopt new skillsets.
• Effective team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Proficiency in networking concepts or certification such as CCNA.
• Experience with VMware NSX for network virtualization and security.
• Advanced knowledge of virtualization platforms, particularly VMware and vSphere.
