Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to work on projects for a reputed bank. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make a significant impact.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network and related discipline;
• Minimum 7 years of experience with CCIE skills;
• Must have expertise in network protocols, architectures, and technologies Such asTCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, MP-BGP, EVPN;
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including routing, switching, LAN/WAN, Spanning Tree Protocol, HSRP, ARP, VLAN, Inter-VLAN routing, OSPF, BGP, VXLAN, Cisco ACI, VXLAN BGP EVPN, SDA, SD-WAN, and related technologies;
• Must have Hands-on experience with routers and switches for advanced network troubleshooting and incident resolution.

Desired Skill-set

• Advanced knowledge of application or infrastructure monitoring systems in a multi-platform environment;
• Knowledge of CCIE;

Responsibilities

• Manage daily network operations including implementing and reviewing change scripts, supporting incident and problem troubleshooting, and handling escalations from L1/L2 as well as security incident responses;
• Responsible for collaborating with infrastructure teams and network vendors to troubleshoot, identify root causes, and resolve network issues;
• Handle critical network incidents under pressure to ensure timely resolution and minimize business impact, while participating in conference calls with support teams for problem identification and resolution;
• Strong communication skills, be able to work independently under pressure with minimal supervision, and adhere to the bank’s processes and policies;
• Senior technical role focused on promptly resolving network issues with a proactive, solution-driven approach, overcoming dependencies on external factors;
• Leverages technical expertise to proactively identify and prevent potential network issues and guides junior team members in doing the same;
• Provide 24x7 on-call operational support on a rotational basis, including weekends and public holidays, and work extended hours as needed during production issues.
