Position at LeadVenture India: Infrastructure Engineer III

As an Infrastructure Engineer (L3), you will need to present a professional attitude and have strong communication skills. You will work alongside the IT Director or other senior team members on projects aimed at reducing costs, improving efficiency, and positioning the company for future growth, both organic and through acquisition.

Responsibilities:

1. Understand technical requirements for performance and uptime, ensuring current and new infrastructure services support our objectives.
2. Oversee infrastructure deployments for new projects.
3. Deliver technical services that meet stated requirements and standards.
4. Produce documentation for existing and new projects, adhering to documentation standards.
5. Implement and manage backup and storage systems.
6. Act as a point of escalation for critical technical issues.
7. Audit and maintain infrastructure configuration.
8. Mentor and support junior engineers.
9. Demonstrate dedication to continuous improvement in infrastructure, processes, cross-department communication, and learning new technologies.

Qualifications:

• Previous IT engineering experience in a SaaS or enterprise environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
• Strong understanding of networking principles, experience with firewall appliances and load balancers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory, IIS, SQL, and clustering.
• Experience administering Linux servers (any distro, Ubuntu preferred) and open-source services (Apache, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, etc.).
• Some experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of storage solutions such as SAN and NAS.
• Understanding of complex backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Knowledge of security and compliance principles (SOC2, PCI-DSS).
• Flexible working hours; occasional work outside normal hours.
• Excellent documentation, time management, and prioritization skills.
• A passion for technology.
• Bachelor's degree in IT from a recognized university.
