Job summary

Sopra Steria Singapore is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to lead the ATM solution's infrastructure, working in an international, multidisciplinary team. You will provision the infrastructure platform—network gear, servers, and workstations—and deploy the Standard Operating Environment for the project and/or bid activity.

The role covers equipment configuration, design reviews, training customers, and collaborating with hardware deployment, integration management, and cross‑functional teams

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in the design, delivery, and operations of complex server/storage infra and networks.
• Solid foundation in basic networking concepts, including switching and routing.
• Deep expertise in Linux/Windows Server, server hardening, virtualization, and container environments.
• Broad experience in infra architecture/design for servers/storage and data centre deployment.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and automation for infra operations.
• Experience in product/project development in traditional and agile lifecycles.
• Hardware integration and testing, with validation of hardware components in large software systems.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Revise architecture drawings, cost templates, and BoM/LiS at project start.
• Create/update network contributions to design docs, test procedures, and specs.
• Review documents to align with objectives and participate in integration phases.
• Configure ATM equipment and coordinate with Deployment/Integration management.
• Load, configure, validate, and hand over equipment to software integration.
• Support configuration changes to system platforms in factory and sites.
• Attend Design Reviews with customers and provide training.
• Identify risks and propose validated alternatives.
• Provide system and networking expertise in design.
• Follow and enhance engineering processes.
• Bid support: create and peer review architecture diagrams and BoM/LoS.
• Knowledge capitalisation: document lessons learned and case studies.
• Support cost modelling and Lean/Agile adoption in infrastructure projects.
• Promote modern technologies like AI-driven monitoring and hybrid cloud.
• Collaborate across disciplines to design multi-discipline solutions.
