Infrastructure Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for users reporting technical issues related to OS, middleware, and container platforms.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and health, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
• Resolve basic technical issues and escalate more complex incidents to senior support teams as needed.
• Collect and analyze system logs to assist in problem identification and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
• Document all incidents, troubleshooting steps, and solutions in a clear and structured manner.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach in all support interactions.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and maintain compliance with internal processes and SLAs.
• Participate in a 24/7 rotational shift environment, including weekend and holiday support as required.

Job Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Familiarity with middleware technologies and container platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of monitoring and alerting tools.
• Basic networking knowledge and its impact on system performance.

Soft Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
