Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Drive management initiatives and sustainability projects in support of the organization’s strategic vision.

  • Lead, develop, and finalize the Sustainability Strategy 2030, including the setting of KPIs and trackers.

  • Identify new projects and initiatives that support sustainability goals.

  • Oversee all current and newly identified initiatives, with a strong focus on enhancing productivity, embracing sustainability, and driving digital transformation.

  • Manage projects, including monitoring and coordination, to ensure the successful execution of sustainability strategy initiatives, involving all stakeholders as required.

  • Analyse space-related data to enhance operational policies, integrate space management data with broader facilities analytics, and inform decision-making. Support Facilities Management data requirements, including designing new models, dashboards, and future linkages to Smart FM.

  • Collaborate with other teams to review current systems and data and explore improvement opportunities.

  • Provide sustainability-related support to all internal units.

  • Conduct market research on solutions, coordinate with stakeholders, prepare business proposals and recommendations, and lead implementation. Champion change management in sustainability adoption.

  • Identify potential funding sources from agencies or other entities for smart, productive, and sustainable solutions. Prepare supporting documentation and manage timely reporting requirements. Serve as the project manager for implementation.

  • Develop a carbon management plan and identify relevant benchmarks for improvement.

  • Potentially serve as a member of the upcoming Sustainability Committee to provide active input, track progress, and report to the team.

  • Support the department’s data analytics and reporting efforts by leading the team in data analysis to generate insights and inform policy development. Ensure data integrity and establish standardized reporting processes. Develop a data roadmap and assist in report preparation and documentation management.

  • Develop and improve dashboards to enhance reporting aligned with business needs.

  • Clearly articulate and present findings to leadership and external stakeholders.

  • Policy Development and External Engagement

  • Maintain and update policy frameworks, initiate updates where necessary.

  • Lead engagement efforts by sharing sustainability initiatives with external stakeholders.

  • Digital Transformation

  • Serve as the team’s key representative in coordinating digital transformation initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities across the organization for digital, process, or green innovation.

  • Drive digital transformation by defining problem statements, applying IoT solutions for data collection, and developing insights for improved decision-making.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Real Estate or Engineering (Civil, Building, Mechanical/Electrical) or Sustainability.

  • Professional skills in data analytics and change management.

  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge in construction, building management, and sustainability.

  • At least 5–8 years of specialized experience managing sustainability portfolios.

  • Broad and deep expertise in digital transformation, innovation, and productivity initiatives, especially within campus development and operations.

  • Strong global perspective and up-to-date knowledge of sustainability and digital operations.

  • Experience working with government agencies on productivity, innovation, and securing funding.

  • Familiarity with current Green Mark regulations and related schemes (NEZEB/SLEB).

  • Basic knowledge in Real Estate, Facilities Management, Project Management, and Architectural/Engineering principles.

  • Practical experience with Power BI, Excel Macros, and a working understanding of Python and other data tools.

  • Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder planning and implementation efforts.

  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills, with excellent interpersonal capabilities.

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to develop clear plans and narratives.

  • Highly resourceful, with the ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize effectively.

  • Skilled at translating initiatives and processes into policies and communicating them clearly.

  • Demonstrated success in change management and process improvement.

  • Experience developing operational policies to support business functions.

  • Creative thinking skills to identify and drive improvements.
