Description:

• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.

• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

• Manage the VMware environment and Provide enterprise-wide support to a high level of Microsoft Azure & Red Hat Linux.

• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.

• Maintain security, backup, redundancy, and BCP strategies.

• Support the HPE and Hitachi environments.

• Provide support in a 24/7 environment and be required to work on-call at least one week every month.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with VMware technologies including vCenter, ESXi, Site Recovery Manager (SRM), and vRealize Operations Manager (VRM).

• Proficient in Windows Server operating systems, with strong expertise in Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and Failover Clustering.

• Comprehensive experience in IT systems management covering diverse infrastructure components.

• Solid understanding of security operations, including Privileged Access Management, Endpoint Protection Platforms, and Firewall technologies.

• Skilled in system monitoring as well as backup and disaster recovery solutions.

• Knowledge of SAN storage systems, particularly with remote site replication. Familiarity with administrating Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform is considered a plus.
