Job summary

BIT Official in Singapore is seeking a DevOps Engineer who lives at the intersection of operations and AI-powered development. You’ll own the infrastructure powering our products and services across the board—designing it, automating it, and keeping it fast, reliable, and cost-efficient.

This is a hands-on role for someone who treats infrastructure as a product, and gets genuinely energized by building smooth and reliable systems with AI to make life better.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Linux and shell scripting.
• Experience with container orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker, Helm.
• Proficient in infrastructure as code: Terraform; Karpenter.
• GitOps workflows using GitLab CI and ArgoCD.
• Experience with AWS services (VPC, EKS, EC2, S3) and databases like MySQL/Redis.
• Hands-on experience with vibe development.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable infrastructure for products and services.
• Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters; optimize costs with Karpenter.
• Define infrastructure as code and drive GitOps-based CI/CD.

About the Role

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who lives at the intersection of operations and modern, AI-accelerated development. You’ll own the infrastructure that powers our products and services across the board — designing it, automating it, and keeping it fast, reliable, and cost-efficient. This is a hands-on role for someone who treats infrastructure as a product, and gets genuinely energized by building smooth and reliable systems with AI to make life a better place.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and operate infrastructure across the full lifecycle for a broad mix of services (CMDB, OA, monitoring, alerting, etc.).
• Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters, automating node lifecycle and cost optimization with tooling like Karpenter.
• Define infrastructure as code and drive GitOps-based CI/CD so every change is reviewable, repeatable, and auditable.
• Partner with developers to remove friction, embedding AI-assisted and vibe-development practices into day-to-day delivery.

Requirements

• Familiar with Linux and shell script.
• Container and orchestration experience: Docker, Kubernetes (k8s), Helm.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform, Karpenter.
• GitOps-based CI/CD workflows (GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
• Experience with maintaining common AWS Cloud Services (VPC, AMI, EKS, EC2, S3, CloudFront, etc.).
• Experience with Golang or Python development on top of common middlewares like MySQL and Redis.
• Hands-on experience of vibe development.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of agent loops and how agentic AI systems operate.
