Job summary

HELIUS TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT Security Engineer to join the Enterprise Information Security team.

You will implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, monitor their effectiveness, and prepare security reports to safeguard enterprise systems and network infrastructure. Key responsibilities include configuring security platforms such as email security, IDPS, WAF, and endpoint protection, and contributing to Post-Quantum Cryptography readiness initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of information security or cybersecurity engineering experience.

We are looking for a IT Security Engineer proactive and technically skilled to join our Enterprise Information Security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enhancing cybersecurity controls to safeguard enterprise systems, applications, and network infrastructure.

Security Engineering & Operations

• Implement, configure, and maintain enterprise security controls to protect organizational data, systems, and network infrastructure.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented security measures and prepare regular security reports.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and administer security infrastructure including hardware and software security solutions.

Security Technologies

Manage and support security platforms such as:

• Email Security Solutions
• Intrusion Detection & Prevention Systems (IDPS)
• Attack Surface Management (ASM)
• Anti-Malware & Endpoint Protection
• Web Application Firewall (WAF)
• Certificate Management Systems (CMS)

Security Compliance & Documentation

• Assist in identifying and documenting system security requirements.
• Prepare technical security documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures.

Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC)

• Support the organization's Post-Quantum Cryptography readiness initiatives.
• Monitor developments in quantum-resistant cryptographic standards.
• Assist in assessing crypto-agility across enterprise systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Security or Cybersecurity Engineering.
• Hands-on experience managing enterprise security technologies including Email Security, IDPS, WAF, Endpoint Protection, and Certificate Management.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security, and enterprise security architecture.
• Experience with security monitoring, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and industry best practices.
• Experience in scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or JavaScript for security automation is an advantage.
