Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate learning experiences in accordance with the Early Years Development Framework (EYDF).
- Provide responsive care and establish daily routines that support the emotional and physical well-being of infants.
- Build positive partnerships with families and keep them informed of their child’s development and milestones.
- Create and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for infants.
- Observe, document, and assess each child’s learning and development regularly.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, hygiene, and licensing requirements set by ECDA.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, training, and centre events.
Requirements
- Minimum WSQ Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) or Higher Nitec in Early Childhood Education or Certificate in Infant/Toddler Care.
- ECDA-certified L2 Preschool Educator are welcome.
- Demonstrated passion for working with infants and young children.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be physically able to lift and care for infants safely.
