Job summary

SMALL WONDER PRESCHOOL PTE. LTD. seeks passionate infant care educators to support infants and toddlers in a caring, learning-focused environment.

You will work with programme specialists and a support team to deliver high-quality care and development programs. You will plan curriculum, engage families, and contribute to a collaborative learning community. Strong communication, teamwork, and independent working ability are essential; EY1/EY2 certification is required.

Qualifications

• Higher Certificate in Infant Care or Advanced Certificate in Early Years is required.
• EY1 or EY2 certification is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and basic Office tools.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement curriculum and programmes suitable for infant development; identify trends to innovate.
• Build collaborative relationships with centre staff and families served.
• Manage family and community programmes to strengthen community ties.
• Conduct routine caregiving and continuously seek improvements to improve quality and service.
• Promote our vision and values by uplifting professional practice and delivering high-quality service.

Description:

1. Plan and implement curriculum and programmes appropriate for the child’s development, including identifying emerging trends to keep innovating. This includes developing initiatives, practices and learning materials to enhance quality of learning environment
2. Build collaborative stakeholder relationships and partnerships, amongst centre staff and families we serve.
3. Manage family and community programmes as we believe in contributing back to the community we are in
4. Conduct routine caregiving and always looking for improvements to deliver better quality and service
5. Uplift professional practice in promoting our vision, mission and values and innovating to deliver high quality service standards

Job Requirements

• Must have either Higher Certificate in Infant Care of Advanced Certificate in Early Years
• Must be EY1 or EY2 certified
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office - Word
• Good interpersonal and organization skills
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Able to communicate well with internal & external customer.

With or without teaching experience; but highly motivated, energetic and passionate about promoting the learning and development of infants and toddlers.
