Job description

Time: 7am to 1pm

Location: East Coast (Siglap)

Salary: $1700 to $2000 for half day (6 hours)

Job Scope:

  • Caregiving & Daily Routines – Attend to infants’ basic needs, including feeding, diaper changing, and ensuring proper rest schedules.
  • Safety & Hygiene – Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment; follow strict hygiene practices for infants and facilities.
  • Early Learning & Development – Plan and conduct age-appropriate activities to stimulate cognitive, motor, and sensory development.
  • Observation & Assessment – Monitor and document each child’s development, behaviour, and milestones for progress tracking.
  • Emotional Nurturing – Provide warmth, comfort, and emotional support to build a secure attachment with infants.
  • Communication with Parents – Share daily updates, developmental progress, and concerns with parents in a professional manner.
  • Curriculum Implementation – Follow the centre’s lesson plans and adapt activities to meet individual infant needs.
  • Team Collaboration – Work closely with colleagues to maintain smooth classroom operations and consistent care routines.
  • First Aid & Emergency Response – Respond appropriately to accidents or medical situations; be trained in infant CPR and first aid.
  • Professional Development – Continuously upgrade skills through training, workshops, and staying updated on early childhood care practices.
