Job Description

Capabilities Development
• Lead the development and implementation of Group and partners OEMs' (Original Equipment Manufacturers) new repair capabilities and report to the Industrialization Manager.
• Analyze technical data, gather market data, investment requirements to perform feasibility studies and Return on Investment.
• Perform self-assessments, engineering studies, build up justification file. Liaise with Quality for smooth airworthiness application for testing & repair capability integration.
• Liaise with the OEMs to clarify the requirements.
• Develop, source new equipment, consumables and chemicals and support investments linked to testing & repair policies.
• Drive the progress of the tasks, pilot projects' milestones review with various stakeholders, report advancement, track investments and expenses, monitor contractors and suppliers, devise maintenance plans.
• Lead operations trainings and validation tests.
• Establish calibration requirements.
• Follow-up the testing & repair ramp-up with the workshops and support the Entry Into Service for new programs.
• Report to management. Flow down relevant and timely information.

Support & maintain new capabilities
• Coordinate with Product Support Engineer (PSE), and Operations personal to ensure optimal customer support.
• Assist the lead equipment maintenance when required.
• Implement systems or components modifications following notification of change related to CMM, Service Bulletins (SB) or Service Information Letters (SIL).
• Support workshop implementation of new requirements upon fleet upgrade and retrofit campaigns.
• Develop the Integrated Logistic Support at SEDSA levels.
• Help sourcing for material, suppliers, 3rd parties, alternatives.
• Review calibration requirements.
• Take a pro-active approach, initiate creative solutions to maintenance issues and assist the workshops in implementing best practices, Continuous Improvement, LEAN operations, cost reductions and applying lessons-learned from previous or bench-marked experiences.
• Ensure that communication between all stakeholders, Head Quarter, OEMs, Workshops, Quality, Sales, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain, Customers, Suppliers, is optimum.
• Ensure SEDSA contract terms & conditions are understood & satisfied. Pro-actively manage contractual issues with 3rd Parties and suppliers.
• Report to management. Flow down relevant and timely information.

Job Requirements

Experience and Qualifications:

a) Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Aeronautical Engineering
b) At least 3 years of Aviation Engineering experience, Technical Support Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Operations, in OEM or MRO environment
c) Proficient in product support and trouble shooting procedures
d) Hands-on experience on design and wiring of electronics test fixtures
e) Experience in OEM technical support, or related MRO operations/engineering
f) Must be familiar with technical support environment, processes, and manuals used for aircraft maintenance. Working knowledge of the Aviation Airworthiness requirements like Part 145 is advantageous

g) Effective Project Management and interpersonal skills
h) Experience in calibration requirements and procedures

i) Proficient with Microsoft software applications
j) Working knowledge of the Aviation Airworthiness requirements like Part 145 is advantageous
k) Sound knowledge of quality systems such as ISO9000 and AS9110

l) Excellent attitude, good team player, motivated, driven, committed, reliable. Take ownership of the projects
m) Ability to multi task in a dynamic environment
n) Excellent communications skills. Well versed in written and spoken English
o) Able to think ahead, process data, make decisions and solve problems.
