Job summary

SG ENVIRO PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to lead design and optimization of industrial water and wastewater treatment systems, including membrane filtration and RO processes. You will work on mass and hydraulic balances, equipment sizing, and PFD/P&ID inputs, translating client needs into practical process solutions.

The role requires a chemical/environmental engineering degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Preferably 6+ years of experience in industrial water/wastewater treatment, with hands-on design and commissioning exposure.
• Strong knowledge of chemical/biological treatment processes, aeration, DAF, membranes, RO and water reuse.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design and optimization of industrial water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Perform mass and hydraulic balances, process calculations, equipment sizing and utility evaluations.
• Develop technically sound proposals including process selection and operating cost assessments.
• Prepare design specifications, bill of quantities, and RFQ documents.
• Support business development with site surveys and technical clarifications.
• Provide process support during detailed design, vendor reviews and commissioning.
• Lead or participate in testing, start-up, and troubleshooting; create O&M manuals.
