Job summary

ADVINES HR SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily industrial laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding and dispatch, and to coordinate workflow to meet targets and delivery schedules.

You will operate and monitor equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, manage manpower, ensure safety and quality, and prepare daily operational reports using Excel.

• Oversee daily industrial laundry production operations (sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, packing and dispatch).
• Coordinate production workflow to meet daily targets and delivery schedules.
• Operate and monitor industrial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironing, finishing).
• Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate with maintenance/vendors for faults.
• Monitor manpower deployment and allocate workers per production needs.
• Ensure proper segregation and handling of linen and garments.
• Conduct quality inspections and arrange rewash or reprocessing when needed.
• Maintain production, inventory, rejection, rewash and delivery records.
• Assist with loading/unloading and movement of carts.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene and housekeeping requirements.
• Prepare daily and monthly operational reports using Excel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily industrial laundry production operations, including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, packing and dispatch activities.
• Coordinate production workflow to ensure daily processing targets and customer delivery schedules are met.
• Operate and monitor industrial laundry equipment, including commercial washers, dryers, ironing and finishing equipment.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of laundry machinery and coordinate with maintenance personnel or vendors when equipment faults occur.
• Monitor manpower deployment and allocate workers according to daily production requirements.
• Ensure proper segregation and handling of different categories of linen and garments according to operational requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections on processed linen and garments and arrange for rewash or reprocessing where required.
• Maintain production, inventory, rejection, rewash and delivery records.
• Assist with loading, unloading and movement of laundry carts, linen and other materials within the production facility.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, hygiene and housekeeping requirements.
• Investigate operational issues, customer complaints, shortages and damaged items and assist management with corrective actions.
• Prepare daily and monthly operational reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Perform other production and operational duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Operations Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics or a related discipline preferred.
• Prior experience in industrial laundry, manufacturing, production, facilities, logistics or similar operational environments preferred.
• Candidates must be comfortable working in a factory/production environment involving heat, humidity, noise and prolonged standing .
• Must be prepared to perform hands-on operational duties when required, including handling laundry carts and materials.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and respond to production or equipment issues.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and preparation of operational reports.
• Good coordination, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays according to operational requirements.
• Candidates may be required to work overtime depending on production volume and operational requirements.
