Job summary

EMPLIFI PTE. LTD. seeks an Operations & Equipment Support Operator in Singapore to assist with equipment operation, monitoring, packing, and coordination with suppliers or technicians.

The role requires willingness to work hands-on with machinery and to follow safety procedures. Ideal candidates are practical and careful, able to communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and comfortable with basic English for records and workplace communication.

Qualifications

• Mandarin communication required for China-based suppliers/technicians.
• Basic English for workplace communication and simple records.
• Experience in machine operation, production, warehouse, logistics, or industrial equipment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor industrial equipment used in daily operations.
• Assist with equipment start-up, shutdown, cleaning, and daily checks.
• Monitor operating conditions such as pressure, temperature, timing, and output quality.
• Carry out packing, weighing, labelling, and preparation of goods.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and elevate technical issues when necessary.
• Coordinate with suppliers, technicians, and service personnel on maintenance.
• Communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers from China when required.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of the work area.
• Follow safety procedures when handling machinery, equipment, and goods.
• Support stock movement, loading, unloading, and general warehouse operations.
• Record simple daily operation, equipment, and maintenance logs.
• Assist management in improving workflow, safety, and operational efficiency.
