Job summary

Thales in Singapore seeks an Equipment Engineer to ensure reliability, automation, and commissioning of test benches, equipment, and robots in the Maintenance and Production Workshop.

You will lead root cause analyses of bench and equipment failures, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance. Collaboration with Central Engineering and suppliers is required for new lines' setup and acceptance.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of Equipment Engineering experience in high‑tech manufacturing or production.
• Experience with new equipment setup, installation, repair and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability, automation, commissioning, troubleshooting of test benches and robots in the Workshop.
• Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with Central Engineering and suppliers for equipment realization and acceptance.
