Job Description

Conduct comprehensive time-motion studies and process analyses across retail locations to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop, maintain, and optimize operational standards, ensuring they are current, effective, and aligned with business objectives. This includes quality assurance (QA) on standards files.
Develop and refine labor models to enhance the accuracy of staffing forecasts, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing labor costs. This includes labor demand analysis and forecasting.
Lead the design and execution of user acceptance testing for new systems and tools, ensuring alignment with operational needs and seamless integration.
Collaborate closely with store management and cross-functional teams to implement process improvements that increase productivity, enhance the customer experience, and achieve key performance indicators.
Develop and present clear and concise reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and detailed cost-benefit analyses for proposed initiatives, including project savings analysis.
Apply industrial engineering principles to design efficient workflows, optimize storage solutions, and improve overall operational effectiveness.
Develop and deliver training programs for store staff on new processes, best practices, and the effective use of new tools and systems.
Support innovation projects by providing analytical insights and contributing to the development of new processes and solutions.
Develop e-commerce manpower demand forecasts to support fulfil-from-store operations.
Configure event-specific operational plans and standards to ensure smooth execution and efficient resource utilization.
Manage and follow up on data requests, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided to stakeholders.
Proactively identify potential opportunities for improvement in all areas of retail operations.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Understand and able to conduct time-motion studies, process analysis, and develop labor models.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel or similar software).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to management.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage timelines, and achieve desired outcomes.
Has a passion for process improvement and efficiency.
Experience with relevant software applications (e.g., workforce management systems), and/or understanding and experience in retail operations will be advantageous.
