Industrial Engineer (Supply Chain Process Improvement & Automation) - SL

Our client is a leading player in cold chain and retail logistics sector. They manages end-to-end warehousing and distribution for chilled, frozen, and ambient products. With a focus on automation, sustainability, and operational excellence, it supports major retailers in ensuring timely and efficient inventory replenishment.

You will play a pivotal role in driving end-to-end supply chain optimization with a focus on enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This position supports the analysis and refinement of automated warehouse systems to boost operational capacity and performance, while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the value chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and enhance supply chain processes to improve efficiency, collaboration, and overall system performance.

• Conduct time motion studies to identify bottlenecks and recommend workflow improvements in warehouse operations.

• Leverage data analytics tools to generate insights, monitor trends, and drive data-informed decisions for process optimization.

• Apply industrial engineering principles to implement best practices in warehouse operations and automated systems.

• Translate business needs into practical solutions by addressing operational pain points and offering targeted process improvements.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and automation vendors to co-develop innovative processes and integrate new technologies.

• Support training and change management efforts to ensure effective adoption of new systems and automation tools.

• Assist in CI and automation project management

Qualifications:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or a related field.

• Must have experience in warehouse operations, with a strong background in process redesign, optimization through data and cost analysis, and effective change management.

• Experienced in warehouse automation system and project management will be an added advantage

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
