Job Summary:

VSMC is seeking a highly motivated Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, improve productivity, and support continuous improvement initiatives across our semiconductor fabrication and assembly lines. The ideal candidate will apply engineering principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure high-quality output in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and improve production workflows, layout, and material handling systems.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions.
  • Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Operations) to support new product introductions and process changes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Support capacity planning, equipment utilization, and labor optimization.
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives and support capital investment projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • >3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement tools.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, Power BI) and CAD software.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with MES, ERP systems, and automation technologies is a plus.
