Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks a skilled capacity planning professional to lead test capacity modelling, planning and network balancing across multiple sites. You will drive governance, manage tooling strategies, and work with SIG, procurement, planning and site teams to optimize capacity and revenue.

The role focuses on automation, AI-assisted decision support, and capital investment planning. You will report to the Strategic Capacity Planning team and impact global supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Capacity Modelling , Planning & Network Balancing:
  • Assess SPO capacity limitations and apply mitigation plans.
  • Balance supply and capacity across various sites flawlessly.
  • Assess demand impacts and strategically redistribute loading.
  • Drive network-level capacity modelling governance to ensure planning efficiency.
  • Create AI Agent for capacity modelling and planning to assist thorough decision making process.
• Tooling Strategy & Site Interface Management:
  • Manage tooling transfers between sites with outstanding coordination.
  • Collaborate strictly with SIG, procurement, planning, and site teams.
  • Review tester delivery schedules to ensure timely implementation.
  • Determine tooling deployment strategy for LPDRAM programs, aiming for optimised flex cap and revenue-support.
  • Drive tools and tooling modelling standardisation for cost efficiency.
  • Create AI Agent to manage the workflow for tooling transfer and sites balancing to meet revenue target.
• Capacity Constraint Management & Risk Mitigation:
  • Engage with planners, TSE, IE, and test-site collaborators to successfully resolve capacity risks.
  • Address capacity limitations and formulate plans to address them.
  • Assess test yield impacts meticulously.
  • Determine effective mitigation plans before discontinuing flows.
  • Evaluate the impact of test-site changes on supply availability.
  • Using AI agent to provide the constraint and risk mitigation analysis.
• Capital Investment & QSR Planning:
  • Planning tester investments and securing capacity expansion funding.
  • Justifying capital equipment expenditures.
  • Leading Quarterly Scenario Review (QSR) activities to ensure prioritisation of resources.
• Strategic Capacity Planning Systems & Automation:
  • Lead several ATCSP digital transformation initiatives.
  • Gather capacity assumptions and drive alignment meetings.
  • Review capacity simulations and prepare comprehensive recommendations.
  • Coordinate projects like the TTR Sandbox Project for automated TTR planning workflow, and FlexCap Analyzer for capacity modelling improvements.
