Job summary

SILTRONIC SILICON WAFER PTE. LTD. is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to develop strategies for shop floor scheduling to meet planned throughput and optimize inventories globally.

The role focuses on capacity planning, material flow optimization, and coordinating ingot growing and deliveries to international sites, with emphasis on improving yield and reducing process time variation.

Candidates should have an Engineering Degree and strong Excel/C++ skills to support costing and logistics processes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and define strategies for shop floor scheduling to meet the planned throughput.
• Define strategies for monthly WIP setting and production targets to achieve inventories targets.
• Determine equipment capacity via time studies considering material flow and process influences.
• Identify improvements for capacity and material flow.
• Define and update strategy for yield and process time variation to fulfill customer demand.
• Schedule ingot growth according to product mix and puller capacity; plan ingot deliveries to international sites.
• Adjust start and ingot growing plans to accommodate spec changes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and define strategies for shop floor scheduling to meet the planned throughput.

• Define strategies for monthly WIP setting, production target, so as to achieve globally set target of inventories days-on-hand (for ingot, WIP and Finished goods).

• Determine equipment capacity by applying time studies, under consideration of material flow details and process- and product influences.

• Focus on identifying potential improvements regarding capacity and material flow

• Define and update the strategy regarding yield and process time variation in order to ensure fulfillment of customer demand.

• Schedule ingot growing according to product mix and puller capacities

• Plan and execute ingot deliveries to international sites

• Make adjustments to the starts and ingot growing plans to manage changes in specs requirements

Qualifications

• High level of PC skills
