A leading company is seeking a sales professional to enhance customer relations and drive revenue in the FMCG sector. The role requires proactive engagement with customers, managing sales targets, and contributing to overall business growth. Candidates should possess a diploma or degree and a minimum of three years in a relevant field.
Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience and routing calls to the appropriate departments when necessary.
Actively engage with existing and potential customers, including making outbound calls, following up on leads, and addressing inquiries to drive new business opportunities.
Understand customer needs and preferences through active listening and engagement, identifying potential sales opportunities for both current and new products/services.
Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Collect valuable feedback on products/services and escalate to the relevant departments for further action.
Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and offerings, effectively explain, and upsell to customers based on their needs and interests.
Stay informed about competitors’ products, services, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and differentiate our offerings.
Proactively research, identify, and qualify new leads and business opportunities, expanding the customer base and increasing sales.
Take ownership of achieving or exceeding individual sales targets by closing sales effectively and driving revenue growth.
Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks as required, maintaining organized records and contributing to the smooth operation of the sales process.
Regularly track and report on sales activities, lead status, customer feedback, and progress towards targets. Use data to improve performance and identify areas for development.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers by providing personalized service, anticipating their needs, and offering solutions that enhance their experience and satisfaction.
Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
Work with marketing, customer support, and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging, promotions, and customer service strategies.
Take on special sales initiatives, promotional campaigns, or market research projects as directed by the Sales Manager or leadership team.
Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned by management to contribute to the achievement of the company's sales objectives and growth strategy.
Job Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Admin or relevant
Preferably minimum 3 years of relevant experience in FMCG / Modern Trade
Common software skills are a must
