Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a procurement-focused professional to lead site supplier performance and relationships in Singapore.

The role involves owning procurement for designated areas, negotiating with suppliers to meet business needs, and supporting capital budgeting and global procurement strategies. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business or higher and 0–2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, engineering, or project management.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business or higher from an accredited institution.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in Procurement/ Supply Chain/Engineering/ project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Site Supplier Performance and Relationships.
• Own procurement process for designated areas and accounts.
• Negotiate with suppliers to meet business needs.
• Support capital budgeting and cash flow management, and the execution of Global Procurement strategies.
• Handle cost saving initiatives and metric.
• Implement cost savings and process improvement programs.
• Have deep knowledge to serve as a consultant for procurement process and supplier issues.
• Support site audits.
