A leading luxury brand based in Singapore seeks a Procurement Manager to define and implement procurement strategies across various categories. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in procurement and be adept at managing complex projects in a high-stakes international environment. This role demands strong leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. A background in the fashion or luxury industry will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
Strategies & Projects:
Define and implement strategies and projects in relationship with Gucci corporate procurement and finance teams on the different categories (Events, Travel, Facility, Security, Maintenance, Communication, Professional services and consulting, Works, Visual merchandising, Supply chain etc)
Be responsible for strategies and actions to be implemented for the brand whether they are managed by him/her or at Brand or Group level
Identify optimization projects opportunities, and define relevant policies per category that are consistent (mission, actions, policy etc) and in compliance with Brand and Group policies
Collaborate with the Corporate Category Partners/Buyers acquiring the methods, best practices and KPI and supporting them for the regional deployment of transversal projects
Collaborate with Finance team to ensure budget availability and to report total cost of ownership after project completion
Set economic and/or qualitative targets for each procurement action
Operations:
Manage expenses analysis
Conduct procurement projects (specification work, sourcing, appropriate levers identification, negotiation, contract) in close partnership with functional stakeholders
Perform competitive sourcing activities, negotiate and analyse scenarios to be proposed for final selection
Contribute to the selection of the most accurate supplier portfolio in compliance with internal and external regulations and procedures
Define contracts with selected suppliers to ensure appropriate deliverables and risk avoidance, in accordance with legal department
Define KPIs with selected suppliers, evaluate and manage supplier performance and compliance
Provide expertise and support (deliverables, best practices, framework etc), promote procurement guidelines, processes and best practices and ensure appropriate business controls are in place to protect the company
Support the change management
Reporting:
Report projects and performance (quantitative and qualitative indicators) within the reporting framework
Contribute to the brand Balanced scorecard consolidation to be presented at the brand top management
Communication:
Contribute to the internal communication: procurement projects, referenced suppliers and agreements conditions, procurement guidelines
Develop best practices for exchanges within other brands and procurement teams of the group
Requirements:
Degree in finance, procurement sourcing and/or supply chain management
Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in procurement, with proven ability to develop and deliver strategic vision, clear understanding of indirect procurement management and experienced in best practices, tools and techniques, capacity to support change management.
Leadership and team worker, autonomy, proactive, problem solving, analytical and persuasive abilities.
Excellent communication skills with all levels of organization and suppliers
Experience in complex international environment and/or in Fashion / Luxury industry is a plus
