• Indirect Buyer experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement to support workshop operations.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate and procure parts and services at competitive pricing.
• Review supplier quotations, assess pricing competitiveness and recommend purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics and planning to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain databases for materials, vendors, pricing and expenditures.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives and expand the vendor base.
• Monitor supplier performance and push for improvements.
• Participate in materials review and continuous improvement activities.
• Prepare procurement reports for management.

Job Summary:

Responsible for driving efficient, cost-effective procurement by sourcing, negotiating and ensuring timely delivery of material while managing supplier performance and supporting continuous improvements.

Job Duties:

• Manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities to support workshop operations and organisational objectives, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate and procure spare parts, consumables, materials and services at competitive pricing while maintaining required quality standards.
• Review and analyse supplier quotations, assess pricing competitiveness and recommend optimal purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate closely with suppliers, logistics and planning teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supply issues promptly.
• Maintain and update databases for materials, vendors, pricing and expenditures to support accurate planning and reporting.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives, expand and qualify the vendor base and mitigate risks associated with single sourcing.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance in areas such as delivery reliability and product quality, implementing improvement and actions as needed.
• Participate actively in materials review processes, problem-solving sessions, and continuous improvement programmes to enhance procurement and material planning efficiency.
• Prepare and support management with ad-hoc, weekly and monthly procurement reports and assigned tasks.
• Uphold company policies, procedures and safety standards while performing other duties as required.

• Indirect Buyer Experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
