Location: East Region
Working Hours: 6 days, 44 hours per week
Salary: $4000 to $5000
Job Responsibilities:
* Prepare authentic Indian curries and manage the tandoor section (e.g. naan, tandoori meats, kebabs)
* Ensure consistency and quality in all Indian dishes prepared
* Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and service
* Minimize food wastage and manage inventory efficiently
* Assist in the creation of new Indian dishes and seasonal menus
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Indian cooking techniques and recipes
* Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
* Maintain proper use and care of all tandoor equipment and cooking tools
* Be flexible to assist in other sections of the kitchen when needed
* Attend training sessions or meetings as scheduled
* Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Management
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Indian curry and tandoor cooking
* Strong understanding of Indian spices, herbs, and traditional cooking methods
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
