Job summary

SPD Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an Occupational Therapist to manage a caseload of routine and standard cases, assessing, planning and implementing interventions for clients with mobility challenges.

You will work one-to-one, in groups or in special settings according to programme requirements. You will monitor progress, document records, participate in admin duties, and provide training to staff and caregivers while referring to specialists as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Eligible for registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Fluency in local languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of routine and standard cases with proficiency and independence.
• Assess, develop, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with clients one-to-one, in groups, or in special settings.
• Monitor progress, evaluate effectiveness, and review needs.
• Provide OT consultation and updates to caregivers and care teams.
• Refer clients to specialists for further treatment or training as needed.
• Conduct home/school/work visits when necessary.
• Provide OT training on relevant platforms when required.
• Participate in departmental administrative duties and ensure timely documentation of clinical records.
• Maintain inventory of therapy equipment and resources.
• Provide on-the-job guidance and share best practices with staff.
• Engage in continual professional development and literature reviews.
