Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking an Incoming Quality Inspector (IQC) for the East region to inspect incoming materials and verify line fallout in a timely manner.

The role requires hands-on use of micrometers, calipers, and other quality tools, accurate data recording in SAP QM, and adherence to safety and documentation standards. Prior IQC experience in semiconductor environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to understand written instructions such as procedures, specifications and blueprints.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines for handling chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Able to perform material inspection while preserving cleanliness and integrity.
• Effective communication in multiple media (oral, written, visual).
• PC skills including MS Word and Excel; statistics and SPC charts are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming material inspection and verification of line fallout in a timely manner.
• Make quality decisions and communicate with Supplier Quality Engineer and Buyers.
• Sample materials using documented sampling plans and procedures.
• Physically inspect materials with micrometer, calipers and feeler gauges.
• Maintain IQC tool calibration status and inventory of IQC labels.
• Record data into SAP QM system and generate necessary documentation.
• Monitor SPC chart trends and support related data posting and documentation.
• Assist internal stakeholders with information requests and supplier performance reviews.
