Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking an IQC Engineer to ensure quality of incoming materials and drive continuous improvement in inspection processes.

You will establish and maintain SAP QM, eCOA, and IQC SPC, conduct First Article Inspections, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold high material quality standards, leveraging AI tools to enhance data analysis and anomaly detection.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering or a related field.
• Able to work a 5-day shift schedule that may include either Saturday or Sunday.
• Proven experience in quality control within an engineering environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Excellent documentation and procedural development skills.
• Strong collaborative skills to work with diverse teams.
• Ambitious and diligent approach to uphold high standards of material quality.
• Knowledge and experience in Artificial Intelligence applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality consistency for all incoming materials.
• Continuously improve the IQC business processes with the IQC Engineer.
• Establish and uphold SAP QM, eCOA, and IQC SPC for incoming materials.
• Conduct First Article Inspection activities for new materials.
• Conduct incoming material inspections for quality control, encompassing a range of materials.
• Ability to work with external and internal groups with a positive, customer service orientated attitude.
• Apply AI-Enabled and AI-Assisted methodologies, including LLMs, AI Agents, and Generative AI tools, to enhance inspection strategies, automate quality data analysis, improve anomaly detection, and drive continuous improvement in incoming quality control processes.
