A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a QA Supervisor to oversee daily inspection operations and support IQA inspectors. Candidates should hold a degree in Engineering or Science, have experience in Quality Assurance, and possess strong communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI is essential. The role involves supervising inspections, preparing documentation, and generating quality reports.

Qualifications

  • Degree in any Engineering or Science discipline.
  • Preferably with experience in Quality Assurance or Engineering.
  • Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license is preferred.

  • Assist the Incoming QA Manager in supervising daily IQA operations.
  • Monitor inspection progress and elevate issues to the Incoming QA Manager.
  • Provide guidance and support to IQA inspectors.
  • Review Inspection Control Plans and First Article Reports.
  • Prepare inspection documentation and ensure timely reporting.
  • Generate weekly and monthly quality performance reports.

Job Description
  • Assist the Incoming QA Manager in supervising daily IQA operations across multiple sites (Jalan Boon Lay, Chin Bee, and Penjuru)
  • Monitor inspection progress and elevate issues to the Incoming QA Manager
  • Coordinate inspection schedules and allocate resources effectively
  • Provide guidance and support to IQA inspectors in resolving day-to-day challenges
  1. Review Inspection Control Plans and First Article Reports
  2. Prepare inspection documentation and ensure timely reporting
  3. Generate weekly and monthly quality performance reports
  4. Coordinate Spare Nonconformance Action (SNCA) disposition for nonconforming materials
  5. Liaise with Procurement and Suppliers to address and resolve quality issues
  6. Collaborate with Operations to manage incoming quality concerns
  7. Apply creative and practical approaches to overcome operational challenges
  8. Conduct source inspections at supplier premises
  9. Engage with suppliers on quality matters and participate in Supplier Quality Audits
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  11. Develop and maintain Quality Information Systems using Power BI and advanced Excel
Job Requirements

  • Preferably with experience in Quality Assurance or Engineering
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and advanced Excel (e.g., pivot tables, macros)
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives
  • Creative, resourceful, and pragmatic in handling responsibilities
  • Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license is preferred
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
