Job summary

The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) is seeking a data analytics professional to enhance internal workflows through business intelligence, process automation and data visualization. This role supports the Finance division with insights on management information, incentives and budget control.

You will collaborate with in-house system teams to deploy new dashboards, review incentive claims for guideline compliance, and prepare periodic reports for senior management while upholding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science & Analytics, or Business Analytics or equivalent.
• Experience with RPA and coding; knowledge and practices in Business, Finance or Accounting will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and project management skills.
• Good problem solving and critical thinking skills, results oriented and able to work effectively under pressure or on multiple priorities and projects.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Singaporean.

Responsibilities

• Co-designing with inhouse system teams on development and deployment of new systems and dashboards.
• Reviewing claims submitted by companies, for compliance with guidelines and award letters.
• Ensuring service delivery in accordance with pre-defined service level agreements, from planning, fieldwork and reporting.
• Meeting with senior executives and lead engineers to ascertain the status of financial incentives awarded to companies.
• Assessing the achievement of incentives conditions with on-site visit and documents review.
• Identifying gaps and shaping policy framework from issues identified.
• Preparing periodic report to senior management.
• Promoting organisational awareness on incentive governance, business continuity planning and risk management.
