Job description

Overview: Location: Mumbai or Delhi Preferred

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to identify and acquire new clients, expand existing relationships, mentor Business Development Executives & Associates, and increase revenue through the sale of annuity services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the primary territory liaison responsible for driving growth of all ePlus services in the region.
  2. Assist the field sales team with training and skills development for selling all ePlus services.
  3. Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients for our annuity services.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to expand business opportunities.
  5. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, identify potential clients, and generate leads.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs and ensure effective delivery of solutions.
  7. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure favorable terms.
  8. Coordinate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns supporting annuity services sales.
  9. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and offerings.
  10. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue.
  11. Manage assigned regions' annuity services quota to meet targets.
  12. Mentor Business Development Managers and Associates to enhance their sales skills and achieve targets.
  13. Establish and maintain strong relationships with Tier 2 partners to drive revenue growth and expand the customer base.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Business, Management, Computer Science, or Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in selling services and solutions with business development responsibilities.
  • Experience in Cloud/Data Center/Networking sales required.
  • Sales leadership experience preferred.
  • Proven success selling to CXO and VP level solutions.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territories.
  • Extensive knowledge of selling in complex ratable services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a matrix-managed environment.
  • Proven ability to leverage subject matter experts in the sales process.
