Job summary

FCAP Investors Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Singapore-qualified lawyer to join its legal team, focusing on private equity transactions and governance.

You will advise on deal structuring, draft key documents, support fund formation, and coordinate with external counsel across jurisdictions.

Strong English language skills (Chinese beneficial), 2–5 years PQE, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Singapore-qualified lawyer with 2–5 years PQE.
• Experience in M&A, private equity, or corporate transactions.
• Exposure to cross-border deals is essential.
• Experience in fund formation, funds regulatory work, or investment management is a strong advantage.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong commercial judgment and a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Strong command of English; Chinese language ability is a plus.
• Graduated from a world-renowned university.

• Support fund formation and structuring activities, including reviewing fund documents, regulatory filings, and investor documentation.
• Manage and coordinate with external counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide legal support on portfolio management, corporate governance, and compliance matters.
• Assist with regulatory and licensing matters relevant to the firm’s operations in Singapore and abroad.
• Develop and maintain internal legal processes, templates, and risk-management frameworks.

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of transactional documents (SPAs, shareholders’ agreements, investment agreements, NDAs, term sheets).
• Support fund formation and structuring activities, including reviewing fund documents, regulatory filings, and investor documentation.
