Import & Export Specialist

About the Role

In this role, you'll ensure seamless international shipments, optimize costs, and maintain compliance—keeping our products moving efficiently from manufacturing to market.

The Impact you’ll make:

• Manage global freight operations for finished goods and spare parts via ocean, air, and courier.
• Ensure timely deliveries by coordinating shipments from manufacturing sites to distribution centers and retailers.
• Optimize documentation & compliance by preparing shipping documents and ensuring regulatory adherence.
• Enhance carrier performance by liaising with logistics providers and monitoring service levels.
• Resolve shipping challenges through proactive tracking and issue resolution.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Sales, and Customer Service to align logistics with demand.
• Oversee customs clearance by managing import documentation and ensuring accurate duty payments.
• Control logistics costs by optimizing freight rates and managing customs-related expenses.

The Skills and Knowledge you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in global logistics or import/export transportation, preferably in consumer electronics or home appliances
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes, customs documentation, and Incoterms
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Proficiency in ERP/logistics management systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, TMS platforms)
• Experience with oversized shipments & Singapore customs.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
• Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities
