The ERP Implementation Specialist role located in Moggapair, Chennai is responsible for overseeing the successful deployment of the ERP system, ensuring alignment with business requirements, and enhancing operational efficiencies. By collaborating closely with various departments, this position involves configuring the ERP software, managing data migration, conducting user training, and delivering continuous support post-implementation.In this role, your responsibilities will include project management tasks such as planning, coordinating, and executing ERP implementation projects throughout their lifecycle. You will be required to create comprehensive project plans encompassing timelines, milestones, and resource allocation while monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments for successful project outcomes.As the lead for data migration, you will spearhead data cleansing, mapping, and migration initiatives from existing systems to the new ERP platform. It will be crucial to maintain data integrity and consistency during the migration process to ensure a seamless transition.Moreover, you will be responsible for developing and conducting training programs for end-users and stakeholders, as well as providing continuous support and troubleshooting assistance during and post-implementation. Crafting user manuals, training materials, and ERP system documentation will also be part of your duties.Change management will be an essential aspect of your role, involving the creation and implementation of strategies to facilitate smooth transitions. Effective communication with stakeholders to address concerns and drive user adoption will be a key component.The ideal candidate should possess at least 8 years of experience in ERP implementation, preferably with systems like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms. A proven track record in managing successful ERP projects from initiation to completion is highly desirable.Key Skills for this role include strong project management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, proficiency in data migration and system integration, effective communication and interpersonal capabilities, and adeptness in training and supporting users. Familiarity with SQL, database management, and reporting tools is advantageous.Candidates with relevant certifications in ERP systems or project management (e.g., PMP, SAP Certification) will have an added advantage.This is a full-time position that may involve occasional travel to various company locations.
