Job summary

Supermetrics is seeking an Implementation Architect to be the technical expert guiding onboarding, training, and complex enterprise implementations. You will collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Product, Engineering, Partner Success Managers, and Business Consultants to ensure value delivery from day one.

This mid-level, individual contributor role focuses on hands-on onboarding, solving data challenges, and shaping AI-assisted workflows for the Professional Services team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in customer-facing implementation, onboarding, technical consulting, or a similar technical role, ideally within a SaaS or data company.
• Customer Success experience with a strong technical background is also highly relevant.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, APIs, and JavaScript and/or Python.
• A solid understanding of data pipelines, data modelling, and integrations.
• Experience leading customer workshops, onboarding sessions, and training.
• The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• A genuine curiosity about AI and a habit of using AI tools to improve your own work.

As an Implementation Architect , you’ll be the technical expert helping customers succeed from day one. You’ll focus on hands-on onboarding, training, and complex enterprise implementations, while also helping shape the AI-assisted workflows that will define how our Professional Services team operates in the future.

This is an individual contributor role for someone who enjoys working closely with customers, solving complex data challenges, and helping build new ways of delivering value. You’ll collaborate closely with Customer Success, Sales, Product, Engineering, Partner Success Managers, and Business Consultants to share customer insights, support deals, and ensure smooth handovers after onboarding.

What you will do:

Onboard & enable customers

• Lead customer onboarding, platform setup, training, and best-practice guidance.
• Manage multiple implementations while keeping timelines and deliverables on track.
• Continuously improve onboarding processes, documentation, and enablement materials.

Deliver complex implementations

• Lead workshops to define data flows, integrations, and implementation strategies.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions.
• Build custom solutions using JavaScript, Python, APIs, and SQL.
• Troubleshoot complex data pipelines, integrations, mappings, and platform issues.

Shape AI-assisted delivery

• Identify repetitive implementation work that can be automated.
• Help design and improve AI-assisted implementation workflows.
• Review and refine AI-generated solutions, mappings, and scripts.
• Contribute to templates, best practices, and delivery methodologies.

Support customers & pre-sales

• Partner with Customer Success and Sales on customer workshops, demos, and strategic deals.
• Connect technical solutions to customer business outcomes.
• Deliver POCs and assess technical fit and implementation feasibility.

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in customer-facing implementation, onboarding, technical consulting, or a similar technical role, ideally within a SaaS or data company.

How we use AI in the recruitment process:

We use AI to help our recruiters work through applications faster, for example, summarizing your resume and scheduling interviews. A recruiter reviews every application, and no hiring decision is ever made by AI.
